2018 Playground Mobilization Day

Playground Mobilization Day was May 19, 2018 and the members of Phi Kappa Omega Chapter made the front steps of Rudyard Kipling School in Chicago a little more pretty. PKO members got their hands dirty by filling the large pots with dirt, arranging the flowers and planting them properly to create a new look for the entry way. Placing two large planters in front filled with pretty white flowers for the students to enjoy on their way inside is just our way to contribute some sunshine to this building. A few weeks later, in June, PKO President, Tiffany West and Vice President Jennifer Henderson donated a bench to the Learning Garden in the name of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Phi Kappa Omega Chapter.  The Environmental Ownership Committee Chairman is Phylis Hammond.
